"Kai fan" (开饭) is a Chinese phrase that literally translates to "open rice". It is often used to invite someone to share a meal or to signal that it's time to eat. KAIFAN is an invitation to share the joy of companionship, conversation, and the rich culture of Chinese culinary traditions with family, friends, and even strangers. KAIFAN THE PARLOR is an EXPERIMENTAL BAR-RESTAURANT including 3 themed spaces inside a 101-year-old samurai residence. A fresh take on DIM SUM & WINE located in the heart of KANAZAWA, JAPAN. The concept is set up by our own Yuann of Kidzfrmnowhere. By setting up this restaurant our ideal is to bring food, culture and film together. It is were east meets west.
